Trondling complete

 

Nidaros is the old name for Trondheim; these stone monuments, marking either end of the pilgrimage, are far older.

The Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim - the endpoint of our journey.  It was too big to all fit in a photo, this is the best I could do.

I trondled up the 144 steps of the steep spiral staircase in the cathedral spire - the views from the top are impressive.
